PHASE I - STUDY @ KIRON
The first phase consists of online studies are based on a digital and fully modularized curriculum that clusters MOOCs created and provided primarily by external academic partners. These courses are bundled into modules on Kiron's learning platform - the Kiron Campus. All Kiron curricula meet the standards of the European Higher Education Area and thus offer students
a coherent educational program.
Massive Open Online Courses are free online courses open to everyone.
You can complete up to 60 Kiron credit points with Kiron.
Choose either Computer Science or Business & Economics as your study track.
You can start without a high school diploma giving access to higher education.
Don't worry about tuition fees! Online studies at Kiron are completely free of charge.
You need to be an asylum seeker or a recognised refugee in Luxembourg.

PHASE II - STUDY @ UNI.LU
After successfully passing Phase 1, you will apply to the University of Luxembourg (Uni.lu). If you are accepted to enrol at Uni.lu, your file will be assessed to determine how many ECTS Uni.lu accepts as equivalent. This will decide precisely in what academic year you will start your studies at Uni.lu. When you successfully finish your studies, Uni.lu will award you a degree in your subject.
After finishing your Kiron studies, you need to apply to Uni.lu.
Depending on the equivalence recognition, you can study one or two years at Uni.lu.

You need to have a high school diploma that grants you access to higher education and is recognised in Luxembourg.
Participants in Phase 2 are required to pay the regular Uni.lu tuition fees.
You need to have a valid refugee status and an English language certificate for Phase 2.
